Bell Ringing is provided for the Salvation Army during December at the Lakeway Fred Meyers, grocery & retail entries and also at the Barkley or Sehome Haggen’s.
Arthritis Foundation Annual Bellingham Jingle Bell Run

Animals as Natural Therapy
Volunteer to assist with one to two projects throughout the year. Through animals they provide natural therapy to youth ages 6-18, veterans & elders through equine therapy and other animal learning programs. 3-hour project
Collect Baby Food & Cash Donations for the Bellingham Food Bank “Food 4 Tots” at the B’ham Haggen Stores.

Bellingham Parks Volunteer Community Work Parties/ Clean up
This is from 9-11 park clean up in the little park that has been sponsored by the club for many years. It is located behind the City Hall. We do this project twice a year or when Bellingham Parks Schedule a work Party. Also may volunteer for other Projects that Bellingham Parks sponsors.

Common Threads
Volunteer for the many gardens at Cordata, Birchwood, Harmony, & Whatcom Schools for weeding, watering, and other maintenance of garden projects.
Work on trimming and clean up the year and playground for the Day Care Center at the Tech School. Tools and Materials are provided.

Project Homeless Connect
This project was approved with a few volunteers from the club. We are adding it for 2019 this is a great community service. Members that can volunteer do a great community service and also represent our Kiwanis club. We can have as many members that are willing to help out. Sign up is directly on-line for volunteers.

Back Pack Collection
Collect back packs from members and donations from merchants, Donate these to a non-profit for homeless or children in need. Any collected will be donated to the Opportunity Council for distribution.
